Dokodemo Rerailer

Interesting mobile retailer. Plop it in front of a train with derailed truck(s) and run the train thru it to retail all the trucks. Usually pretty easy to just pop trucks back on by hand, but some are harder to spot  but train has to be able to keep moving with the derailed trucks for this to work.

Yep, but not sure if that's a one time thing (as in it'll snap the pegs off if you try to dismantle it again). It looks as if the handle would be able to hinge down if it could pop back over the pegs. Neat design anyway, unfortunately I only saw it after placing my November order (Xmas train and the 5v controller) but there'll doubtless be plenty available.

I saw this on HobbySearch with much interest but my layout is mostly PECO and Fleischmann rack track. I am guessing that the PECO should be OK for it but I might have to have a modified one just for the Fleischman rack track (with cutouts to allow for the central rack). Does that sound doable?

Like you, I was thinking of grabbing a Pocket Train loco to run on my Wharf module plus the new 5V power controller, in my case the 10-504-3 Feight loco, but part of the wharf lines will have normally powered N consists running over it. Does the new 5-volt power supply unit for Pocket trains preclude the normal 12V train locos from being used on the wharf or am I getting mixed up on my power needs?
Maybe I could have a dual voltage arrangement depending on which train I am running across that module at the time?
I can just see that design of loco working a wharf scene plus it is quite a bit cheaper than the usual suspects with the two extra cars a scenic bonus.
