It's bad enough when my model trains decide to pick a point. Chicago's El seems to be less reliable than old Lima deep-flange locos on Atlas code 55. Everytime I ride on that system, I thank the gods above I live in St Louis instead.

 

Thankfully, it looks like everyone is going to be alright. Except the NTSB, which looks like they're suffering some severe hyper-tension over the El about now.

Wow, that looks amazingly familiar. I've seen it several time on my father's layout. Those minitrix turnouts (or more, the turnout motors) aren't always the most reliable either =)
