Modemo Collectors Unite!

I have to say that I have since grown to love Hasegawa's Modemo releases and I avoided them in the past thinking they were not up there in quality compared to KATO and TOMIX.    But I wanted to start a thread for Modemo collectors that would easily be searchable (most of the Modemo postings are about replacement parts).

I had to get the 300 series tram based on the ten versions in the Setagaya area.  I really do wish Modemo releases a wrapping version or so (as they tend not to do much re-releases).  Especially one with exterior lighting (headlights, taillights).  These are older (released back in 2002).

To be truthful, I didn't want classic blue, I wanted the turquoise blue or yellow, but 300 series is not easy to get at a cheaper price.  Classic blue and apple green tend to be the more cheaper ones.

But nevertheless, I absolutely love riding this tram each time I'm in the area and needing to go to Carrot Tower.

The second "Yuko" train based on the Mobo 631 (NT156) is one I definitely wanted to pick up.  Many many have seen this tram in Kyoto but I absolutely love visiting existing Japanese snack companies that have been around since the 1800's.

Izutsu Yatsuhashi Honpo has been around since 1805 and are known for their senbei, yugiri and their Yuko.  Personally, I was not aware of this shop, I think the oldest I have visited was Asakusa Nishiyama (1852) and Ginza Kimuraya in the Kanto area and I tend to travel to visit these older, still existing places.

The fact that this is a company driven Japanese snack advertisement train makes it so unique in my collection, that's why I wanted it!

The only thing that I wished was that it was offered with the T-car as a set.  I don't like the idea of the T-car nearly being the same price as the motorized version.

I still plan on getting the Mobo 101 Yuko (NT87), which is fortunately not difficult to find.

I'm a big fan of Enoden!  But the Enoden Type 10 (which I have ridden on several times), the Modemo version is so difficult to find affordably without spending triple the price (it was Y11,340 yen retail when it was released).   It's an older release from 2011 but the NT116 is my primary focus for Modemo (older) releases that I really really really want but won't spend too much for it.
