DB BR103 Electric Locomotive "TEE Rheingold" at Meinz in 1986

I saw a BR103 in 2012, waiting fo my S-Bahn at Unterrath to go to Düsseldorf HBF. Nice souvenir of this nice Ellok.

Unfortunately, too late to pick my cellphone, unlock and shoot.

Buildings behind rails was under construction. Now, it's Tokyo Yaesu Exit.

Of course, Tokaido shinkansen was also. (Rails with grey concrete in the center)

I assume old Bundesbahn and Reichsbahn equipment are getting rarer and rarer?

I was really surprised to see a BR103 in the original livery ivory/red.

Investigating a bit, I heard it was having a regular weekly passengers service.

This picture is really nice, exposure is right as expected. Was that bridge closed to be replaced ? there are built piles nearby .

TOMIX announced they'll release in HO(1/80 16.5mm) scale

It looks like toilets flushing rouughly in the middle of the train. I don't knwo whether toilets were flushing directly on rails as they do in France (but high speed trains) at that time ?

Watching it carefully, it's a restaurant car which looks like toilets flushing as you said.

I heard it has the system which dispose of swage from the tank directly.
