Step 1) Guangzhou (Canton) - Beijing by high-speed CRH: 8 hour day train. Step 2) Beijing - Ulaanbaatar by overnight sleeper. Step 3) Ulaanbaatar - Moscow by Trans-Mongolian-Siberian Railway Sleeper. 5 and a half days.... The section between Beijing and Moscow is so long that even if high speed rail was eventually extended across the entire route, It would probably still be at least 2 days from Beijing to Moscow.... China's CRH sleeper trains would come in handy for such a route! 3 Link to comment
