masterpiece models decal problem

On their kit of the Toden 7500, to represent the Hankai colors the body is molded in green and the tan areas are to be applied with decals.  However there are four rows of windows, but only three decals for these are provided.  Also, there are not enough decals for the doors.   There is only the one decal sheet provided.  Since this is an unpowered display model, can it be that they assume only one side will be shown?  But they do offer a power unit for it.

(I have tried to attach a photo, but am told that it is too big.  I do not see how to adjust this in my ipad). So please see the photo in Hobbysearch under „Masterpiece Toden type 7500“, middle photo; the insufficiency of the decal sheet is obvious.  Two would be fine, with spares, but there is only the one.

Is this normal? Thanks in advance!

There are enough of the decals, they give 3 sets for each side and end and doors and you just need 2 sets, so they give a spare for each type of door, end and side windows.

for images that are not your own photos (ie ones you took yourself) please just use a link to the photo elsewhere and don’t upload it here. When you paste the link into the editor here it will pop the image in and there will be a black bar just below the image and just click “display as a link instead” there and just the link will show up.

for attaching your own photos here on the iPad you can reduce the size of the image while you choose the images. When you click on the ”choose files” link in the attachments bar you get the little photo selection window and you can check which photos to upload. At the bottom of that little window you can see a link “Choose image size” click on that and you can choose small, medium, large or actual size. Small or medium is usually fine for most stuff here, large if you need to be able to blow it up. Then click on the link in the top left of the window (it will be names album you were in like Recents) to go back to the photos and you will now see your selected size and the total file size for your selected photos at the selected size (there is a 4MB limit for attachments per post). click done in the top right and images will be uploaded at the selected size.

we have the limit as uploading gobs of high res images just eats up storage space and can really slow the loading of forum page on lower bandwidth system. Most of the time we don’t need a huge res image here and modern mobile devices and Cameras will take images at like 3-10MB per image.

cheers,
