Help me by identifying this station.

My wife Paula had to see an ENT specialist yesterday at the hospital in Kogarah. The doctor had some beautiful original artwork hung in his rooms, but this was by far the most interesting for me. It was taken by his son, who is a professional photographer living in Japan. He wasn't sure when or where it was taken though. Does anyone recognise the location?

Hi Mark,

 

it looks like the station Ōboke (大歩危駅), Dosan Line in Shikoku. The picture was taken from the a brigde near the station.

 

EDIT:  Yavianice was seconds faster! 😅

Why are the passing loops so long at this station?

When I look at the pictures from the past, the trains here were much longer. Perhaps the dismantling was not carried out here because overhauls or crossings are possible.
