Colour Patterns on Rooftops?

I've come across a number of buildings that have blocks of coloured patterns on their rooftops along with the HVAc equipement, etc.  Anyone have any idea what they are for?

Here's a good example on the Mito O-Hara Academy, and looks like some sort of piping around it:

Looks like some game court with a little fence around it. Message to google satellite? X marks the spot? Message to the invading aliens, good quality rooms here at a good price?

Landing pad for very small helicopters or jet-pack commuters?

Amazon drone deliveries! Looks like the X tarp you have to put out for those! I’ve been making my emp gun to shoot down amazon drones flying over my property, open season over my air space! Figure within a few weeks I’ll have all the parts for a great super cargo drone in the shop!

Rooftop open safe.  Also can be used as evac point if escapees cannot go downwards.

Some rooftops look very much like a game court.  Mito Station North entrance looks like a hybrid hocky-hopscotch court.

The O-Hara looks too small for a landing pad, is the plan for rope-ladder lift out?
