I missed this post Bill, but I just saw this one in my YT feed:

 

 

I did a double take due to the two bright yellow DE15s (1542 and 1545).  Looks like JR West's monochrome Okayama/Hiroshima/Yamaguchi livery, which I don't really care for.  I then did a second double take at the missing pantographs on the former EMUs.  JR East and JR Kyushu have some history pulling 485s(?) with diesels and a generator car don't they?  Well, I'm glad to see JR Hokkaido preparing an excursion of any kind. I thought their situation was such that all the nice little extras wouldn't be considered.

Holy yellow engine batman! Those DE15s are bright.  This was a overcast day.  Imagine a sunny day?
