Yesterday evening I saw that at least Hobby Search announced Tenshodo KUMORU145 + KURU144 for reservation

 and delivery After July (May 14, Pre-order start).

Yes, I saw this too on the Tenshodo website. I’m also very interested .

I saw the KUMORU a long time ago.

It had been same expensive brass. So out of my reach.

Then Tenshodo made their KUMOYA for a really reasonable price.

At one I thought: buy it and start cutting and glueing - but then looked at the long list of plans to to once an as well as on my started and paused projects.

The release came with Tenshodo announcing the KUMORU.

I watched the KUMOYA tests and reports and now I'm sure the right way for me is to click for Tenshodo and only decide for motorizing or display case.

You won't regret it. I have the KuMoYa with the motor pack and it's a very sweet runner once you wire the pickups on the trailing bogie to the powered one.

 

I was going to pre-order the new one but what with currency speculators wrecking the exchange rate and delivery problems I think I'll wait for release and order then, if the price is reasonable. The KuMoYas didn't sell out instantly. I have enough trailer axles stockpiled to kit out the KuRu and a dummy KuMoYa, would just need a power bogie for the KuMoRu and couplers.
