While at first glance this isn't that surprising, at second glance you realize this goes right through Golden Week.  Looks like Japan will have a really quiet Golden Week.

I guess with tight operational financial overheads and toursim make up 70% of their tickets sale. I guess running a small bus hourly would be much cheaper to run.
