Pictures of old bus stations/depots

As the subject came up recently in another thread some (rather low-res) pictures of various old-style bus stations and depots:

Most of those look like operating bases rather than terminals set up to load and discharge passengers. Interesting still.

 

Some of those places remind of the Greenmax bus station. Do buses load passengers in garage like structures in small towns or on minor lines?  Taxi bases seem to be something like that.

 

if things are really primitive a bus depot  might just be a parking lot. There were a few of those in midtown Manhattan prior to 1950.

looks a bit like it would function similarly to the Tomytec Midtown Bus Station.
