Jrproctor2 Posted March 31, 2020 Share Posted March 31, 2020 I just purchased my first bullet train and need some help. It’s the Kato doctor yellow and I also installed the dcc. My problem is when trying to program the end units with the NCE power cab it says not recognizing the decoder. The power unit will program with no issues but not the end units. Anyone have any info to help me out? Thanks. Link to comment
chadbag Posted March 31, 2020 Share Posted March 31, 2020 Without a load sometimes the programmers have issues reading the decoders etc. I know that I've had issues programming the FL12 decoders by themselves though a few repeated "blind" writes usually works. You may also look at this link and see if any of these generic solutions work for you (all have to do with creating a load on the programming track).
