I just have to decide what I want! I am having a tough time choosing whether I want the powered or unpowered 111+112. With my powered 110, the unpowered 111+112 makes a nice (and prototypical) 3-car consist. Also, Cheap. With the powered one, though, I could consist them, or run them independently…

 

Anyone here have a strong opinion on what I should do?

Understandable but I'm pretty sure the E653 will be released next week. MicroAce has it writen down for November 13th and HS says it will be released this month.

I'd like to get that 653, but it's too long for my line. I did get to see a few of them the other year in Japan, and man are they sweet looking. Already put my order in for that 111/112.

The release date got pushed back to mid-March. I may have to can the order. I may be gone (relocated to Japan) by then.
