Kato C11, ref 2021, DCC?

Has anyone converted the beautiful Kato C11 to DCC? I've searched around but found no info...

I guess it has to be hardwired, but is there enough space for a decoder?

Before I order it, I'd appreciate if someone has experience in dcc'ing this loco, and can comment on how to open it up or point any troubles to fit a decoder

I have seen one (japanese) blog post about converting the loco to DCC.  They had to modify a lot of the internals, but it can be done.  It defiantly is not DCC ready, but there is possibly space in the cab for a Z scale decoder.  It will be a tight squeeze.
