Kato 10-504-1 pocket series electric locomotive EB211

Hello everyone

 

Today I bought KATO 10-504-1 electric freight train (pocket line) with EB211 locomotive. I have question, EB211 is real locomotive or not? I cant find nothing

It's not a 100% real locomotive, but it's a rather generic representation of the many variations of steeple-cab locomotives used by Japanese private railways from the 1920s up to today, such as the Towada Kanko Dentetsu ED300 class, the Kurihara Railway ED18/ED200 class, the Joshin Railway DeKi 1-3 Locomotives or the DeKi 11 of Ueda Dentetsu.

Thanks for info, I found AB10form (EB10) battery electric locomotive, Looks like KATO takes it as prototype for the EB211
