Convert Japanese to new couplers

I have a beautiful train of 9 metal Endo container cars with old type Japanese (Baker) couplers. They are brand new. Is it possible to change one to a new coupler so I can run them with a Kato or Tomix engine?

Your best bet is probably to look at the Kadee range. They have various lengths and heights of coupler, and they'll couple to Kato or Tomix knuckles quite happily.

This was a common coupler for older HO models in Japan. I’ve seen a lot of old Tenshodo with baker couplers. You’ll have to look at how the existing couplers are attached, but Kadee or Imon couplers would be your best options.
