Rock Garden in Tokyo Station

Recommended Posts

A priest, a gardener, and an artist walk into Tokyo Station....

We're already inspired to add something like this to our layout.  It wouldn't be very visible inside an N scale station; but, Mito Station has a very large pedestrian walkway and plaza leading into the south entrance where a small rock garden would add a lot of interest to the scene.

Station plazas are a great place to have a pop on exhibit area with different things like a garden, sculpture, giant Pokémon’s (saw a great exhibit of like a dozen of them like 8’ high each), etc.

cheers

Folks,

From my memory, there's a station on the Yamanote Loop, can't remember its name, where there is a plinthed C 11 tank engine in an area near the station.

Regards,

Bill,

Melbourne.

Shimbashi Station with C11 292. It (hilariously) has a fenced-off smoking area attached.
