Eusko Kargo Livery

One of my hopes for 2020 is to reduce the amount of different train models to better focus on my Japanese themed projects.  From my travels I have a diverse collection of European outline N and H0 scale items.

 

However, old habits die hard and I was looking at one of the Spanish model railway blogs (thinking about doing something with my RENFE stock) and saw pictures of some new Eusko Kargo diesels.  I was surprised to see that the livery is very similar to the JR Freight red and gray livery on the DF200 diesels.

I wonder if this is a coincidence or if Eusko Kargo liked the JR Freight livery enough to copy it.
