Searching for other JNR stuff or whatever might be interesting I just stumbled across these old tinplate stuff.

The loco is a shorty  !

The tin plate stuff is is not my world. Neither from Marklin or Lionel or whatever.

Important: I am not related to the ebay shop owner!!!

Any idea when these items had been built and who built them?

Ebay link with search for "JAPAN TER" from seller "toyauction.de"

The couplings on some of them are the same design as those in the still-available Micro Ace 1:80 kits. Wonder if they were a standard thing before knuckle couplings took over?

I see two types, the "horn hook" and one that is similar to old British hornby and bachman. The horn hooks are replacements as I have seen plenty of these on yahoo auction and they always have the other style of coupler. Both styles where standards before knuckle couplers
