For God sake, Unitrack are more than rigid.

Today’s fun: some Kansai area running with my MicroAce Keihan 800-series and Tomix 103-series. The 800 needs some minor mechanical attention due to some funny noises from the motor, but otherwise is perfect.

Some more steam-era shots with my 8620s, C12s and C57s (plus a cameo from my EF66):

My brand new Kato C57 with a mixed passenger consist. Runs very sweetly, I’m glad I got this one.

Pairing my 7142 EF66 with the 98735 Express Freight set, this was the first time I had the freight set out and running.

Yard view: C12 67 on shunt duty, 28643 and 58698 ready to double-head a Hanawa Line freight service, and C57 97 with a van freight.

This is what happens when your handbrakes slip off... I can just hear it now:

”Luckily, no one was hurt. But the Fat Controller was cross!”

I find the old filing cabinet useful for storing my Train cases. Luckily I have another 3 drawer filing cabinet in my shed as the 1st one is almost full.

This is a great idea, we got a surplus of these at work now that we have gone to electronic records.  Thanks for sharing.

Today, I have some DD54 action on BR MK1 coaches. Here are DD54 2 and DD54 10. I also have DD 33, which is on the fuel point.

My son and I are going to visit our club tomorrow night for the first time in a long time. So this evening there were some locos running trial trips on the Kitchenbenchbahn to get them ready:

Cheers,

Mark.

You're not wrong, Jeff, she's a keeper. ❤️

This a short video of the D51 earning it's keep at the club tonight. I was in two minds about buying this particular engine because of the price, but now I'm glad I did. Problem is that I'd  like another one so I can doublehead... 🙄

Cheers,

Mark

Sunny Sunday, time to use the dining room table to play a bit

First my Tobu 500

I really love the metallic effet of the cupper strips I've added as well as the accuracy of the gangway.

Then a run of my Saphir Odoriko going to Tokyo. We're in summer, no jacket aboard for the driver

Close to the windows of the balcony is the the best place to shoot and demo the X-Lite

You're not wrong, Jeff. That's why there's another "slug" on its way to me... 😉
