Limited Express Body Types

Recommended Posts

Some wedge type cabs would be more effective than others, the ones with larger wedges would be more effective against level crossing accidents, but many of them have a better appearance.

I would worry if the Odakyu 70000 was involved in an accident, the driver would be fine, but the front passengers would most likely be injured.

Full double-deck train types also have this problem, they're basically raised cab types with passengers sitting at the bottom. (this design is rare anyway, most double deck trains have vestibules at either end).

But the 215 series (the first double-deck type that comes to mind has motors on the lower floor of each end.)

The E657 is an effective wedge type, its cab is slightly raised cab and a very bulky front end (Is there a name for the type of cab for the E653, E657 and E751?)

Any other types come to mind??
