Just what Alejandro was looking for... The Okawa shuttle and at 5:08 a DE10 rolls by with a mixed train of covered hoppers (Nissin also stored/sold grain to other operators) and boxcars.

Another possibility could be one of JNR's Nagoya Port lines: http://tsushima-keibendo.a.la9.jp/rinkou/rinkou1.html

Cheers Nicholas

Interesting picture of google earth showing an EMU parked at Hama Kawasaki station ... effectively the station is designed for a maximum of three cars.

Here I'm planning a 930 mm lenght single track module, with a trimmed to 3 car capacity passenger station. The module has room for a two track small yard:

I Will need to close one of the stations entrantes; and adapt a platform  terminal at the end (about 62 mm  lenght):

But un general it will work. What do you think??

I like the Kato elevated station! I also started planning for a single track operation with a loop. I ended up performing surgery on my modules to adapt for double track operations.

Hi!

Taking advantage of the lockdown, I have advanced in a couple of modules.

Finally I will make a British style layout fed by cassettes but with the possibility of expansion in the middle:
