Hills Model Railway Society 2018 Exhibition.

Today I got to go to what was the last exhibition of the Hills Model Railway Society’s in the Harvey Lowe Pavilion at the Castle Hill Showground, next year they will be moving to a new venue and combining it with the International Plastic Modellers Society of New South Wales.

 

 The show in general was a small but nice affair with a laid back atmosphere which is typical of this show, whilst the number of layouts is less than other shows the quality was good with a wide diversity of prototypes. It was also good to catch up with a number of people I have met of the years of exhibiting including Edo-san, we also got to meet fellow JNS Forum member Pablo aka Khaul.

That was indeed great fun! The kids joined me and had a great time talking about tanks and helping run the On3 switching layout in the photos above. It was also great to meet Ed and Dave.
