Damn railsquid is mega dangerous with a bottle of white glue, disposable chopsticks and a few spring clamps!

It's amazing what you can do with disposable eating utensils and some basic tools, as many of my enemies have found out to their cost.

 

Meanwhile a random clip as I learnt of a video editor which works on Linux ( https://shotcut.org/ ) as well as the usual platforms, and gave it a quick tryout:

Problem: Tomix does not make 243mm radius tram track.

Not perfect, but will do. Track inlay to follow. I imagine it might be possible to use a cutter or even try 3d printing for a better fit, but that will have to wait.

 

Base for the next section laid out as well, which will finally enable container trucks to exit the yard and relieve the increasingly strained supply situation.

3mm Tamiya foam board, cut to shape as closely as possible and stuck on another layer of the same (Tomix track is 6mm to the top of the rails).

In other news, I have revived the train depot after a long period of inactivity, and it was promply visited by a small fleet of tsurikake densha.
