Type 0 destination signs and reserved cars

So I've been looking online and found a bit but what cars on a Hikari (the train I'm trying to model) had reserved seating and which didn't? Also I'm assuming for destination boards the right side of the train carried the Tokyo ones and the left side Shin-Osaka.

I think both sides switched boards (automatically) as there are both side and island platforms along the line.

The destination signs are the same on both sides as kvp says.

 

My 1990 timetable shows the consist as follows.

Cars 1-7 non-reserved.

Car 8 diner.

Cars 9-10 reserved (9 includes buffet).

Cars 11-12 green cars.

Cars 13-16 reserved.

 

I have a reproduction 1964 timetable that seems to show the then 12 car trains as having cars 5 and 9 reserved and and 7 and 8 as 1st class cars.

So stupid question but I'm assuming the diner and green cars would get the reserved signs as well?

I'm not sure about the diner but green cars are generally all reserved.

Now that I think about it diner would likely be non-reserved. If not it's only four seals to replace, the rest of the train was what I was wondering more about.
