bill937ca
For the seventh straight year the Japanese population declined as deaths outnumbered births. The decline in 2015 was the largest ever. Those 65 and over account for 26.59% of the population. The urban areas of Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka hold 51.23% of the entire population of Japan. Previous figures I have seen put the urban population at 94.5% http://www.asahi.com/ajw/articles/AJ201607140044.html Edited July 14, 2016 by bill937ca Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
I see that Hokkaido bleeded the most in population. If I was stuck anywhere outside of Sapporo, I would move out too. Sapporo itself, by the way, is still gaining population, albeit in small amounts. Link to comment
