What did you order or the post deliver? (Other hobbies)

I did it again, second order with Zenmarket, this time with one special single: Elton John Candle In The Wind 1997 (rewrited for Diana's funeral and played that day at the funeral and in recording studio) And more Robbie's cds, one of them (Swing when you're Winning) with bonus tracks only for Japan.

AliExpress was quicker than expected. Also the hat is REALLY good quality. I'm going to replace the China Railways logo on the front with my own emblem and wear it when I drive my models (ever one to go full theatrical on a hobby...).

Love Live 9th Anniversary concert DVD, Love Love new album, 2 Yuru Camp (laid back camp) mugs.

I got my mum into Yuru Camp when she has to come down by me for work so I figured she's like one of the mugs.

So I got a lucky bid on a figure display stand thinking it was one of the little $2 ones but with a flexible upright. Looked good for holding parts for airbrushing and such. Arrived today and wow! About 4x larger than I thought it was going to be with a bunch of nice clips, extra parts and heavy stand! Nice for a low cost midnight bid!

More shipments arrived from Zenmarket and Amazon from UK and Japan. Cds as always and japanese magazines, 2017 auto sport edition with Takuma Sato in the cover after his first Indy 500 win and Weekly Pro Wrestling magazines with the annual directory of wrestlers (2018 and the most new for 2021 with WWE and some AEW wrestlers too, not only wrestlers in Japan) and the edition from May with Hana Kimura in the cover.

Got this back in December and still haven't had time to properly peruse it. If you are a Macross/mecha fan or even just interested in mechanical design this book is a treasure trove (and in both Japanese and English) and I highly recommend it:

I promised myself once I had my car paid off if I was still drawing regularly I would go digital. A decent tax refund from the government helped. Mostly Dell, Amazon, and Wayfair. Nothing like coming home from the office, putting Depeche Mode or Pink Floyd on the turntable with a mug off coffee and just doodling.

Nice! But don’t forget the pencil or markers and paper now and then to poke your neurons a slightly different way!

cheers

During this part of the year I buyed a lot of cds in Japan and Chile with some treasures: a special compilation of Elvis songs selected by former PM Junichiro Koizumi (biggest Elvis fan) and the first album of chilean group "Los Bunkers" (was hard to find for years until now) Daft Punk ended as band and you can see some of my music tastes from the 90's and early 2000's in this bunch of pics.

Well I spent about 125¥ per car shipped. Nice fill ins, going to have to integrate into the current sets.

Here's to a healthy and safe New Year (and better shipping options if it wouldn't be too much bother, please)!

Pre-ordered our Girls und Panzer kitchen calendar much earlier in the year from CD Japan, and paid for Airmail shipping since SAL is still out.  Then when it came in stock, Airmail was out again too; so we could either let it sit in the warehouse for who knows how long, or pay half again as much to upgrade to EMS.

Well, at least we'll have a fun calendar to enjoy for the whole year.

More Garupan goodies just arrived from Amazon JP.

Main ingredient is the Achtung Girls & Panzer 3, the modelling guide book with updates from Das Finale parts 1–3.  A manga for additional modelling reference for Count High School.  A couple of more school flags and a Boko Bear mascot to help decorate at gaming events.

Oh wow, wish I'd known about that Kickstarter.

On a different note, I promised myself last year that I was getting out of Tabletop miniature wargames like WH40K, to the point I actually sold all my WH40K, however I failed on May 4th when lots of websites were doing Star Wars Legions bundles and I bought one,

Bundle contains:

1 x Legion Core Set

1 x E-Web Heavy Blaster

1 x Imperial Death Troopers

1 x Imperial Shoretroopers

1 x Darth Vader Operative

1 x Imperial Specialists Personnel

1 x General Veers

The deal cost about the same as the core box set did normally and with my notoriously low will power, I caved and bought one, so I now have a massive amount of models to put together and then take the airbrush too.

They have them in the shop now.  The KS Updates were thoroughly amusing as they tried to keep us entertained through all the covid delays, shipping delays, and then even customs delays leading to final fulfillment delays with the US orders.

Twas a successful KS, and they will likely follow up with another for freight car designs.

Used to love the old 2000s star wars minis game. Kinda scared to go down the kegion road. Dollars!

New transportation just arrived for cruising the Steampunk festivals — my Ha'Penny Farthing (a little assembly required).  The 32" wheel is a little over half the size of a full Penny Farthing's.
